Thank you, Lottie!

Thank you, Charlotte, for your amazing gift!

I'm fairly certain that at 6 years old, you don't realize the magnitude of what you're doing, but I know that time will come.

When the moment arrives, smile big because you've done a beautiful thing.

It is said that our blood is the life source of our bodies.

Bone marrow produces that blood.

So with your gift, you are giving more than just blood, you're building a new blood factory in Adrian's body.

Your harvested bone marrow will literally give your brother life.

It's a forever gift, not something that helps for a little while and then goes away.

You are changing the trajectory of his future in such a wonderful way.

From uncertainty to stability, from anxiety to confidence, from hospital rooms to rec rooms.

In truth, he owes you big time. However, he's only 3 and doesn't have any means.

Also, we shouldn't EXPECT a prize for doing something out of love. Acts like that are free and are a reward in and of themselves.

Mommy and I can't repay you for what you've done either, but we will reward your bravery 😉

Not everyone is built to answer a call so great, but you picked up the phone without hesitation.

Thank you for being the super hero big sister you were born to be, Lottie. I love you so much.

Stay fantastamazing, Madam President.

With great appreciation, Daddy.
